has anyone had an experience where they have seen a ghost .

myself and fiona were taking photos in Aldenham graveyard one afternoon and when we checked over the photos there in the background was a small boy watching us from behind a grave .To the best of our knowlage we were alone and never saw anyone all the time we were there.We did return and try to recreate them to no avail.The grave where this took place was a family grave a father 45 a boy 12 and a girl 8 ........was this the boy ..all had  died around the turn of the last centuary.

we returned much later one evening and photographed a large orb very near to the same grave.......The photos can be seen in the Aldenham report.

The wife works in sheltered housing (old folks home) she has worked there for 12 years in the last 18 months she has seen an apparition of the same woman twice, whilse walking towards closed glass fire doors she can see a woman and feel a presence behind her she turns around to find theres no one there. This was mentioned to the on site warden and she confirmed that she has also seen the same lady walking the corridors, after a little more investigating and speaking to other residents they have confirmed that this lady did live and die there more than 20 years ago.

changing the subject back to ghosts ,we had a moment up the caves yesterday they were empty and very quite even the atmosphere was opressive ,the mists were very dark even up near the entrance.As we were about to enter we were taking pics when we both heard a child laugh behind us ,but there was no one behind us.When we looked back a dark shadow moved down the tunnel and out of sight.

We took readings but everything was normal ,but we had the feeling we were being watched all the way down to the bottom .

a idea i have for for us to try, is when we at helfire caves is put my camcorder on my tripod, is put it near the inner temple facing it, and say any one here rtc etc and see if anything comes.

i will bring our camcorder and see what we can catch between them

As a new member I would like to add my thoughts. I am not exactly a paranormal investigator - I am paranormal.  period.  I study Ancient Egyptian magic/religion, and meddle with the paranormal that I find when using that system.  In 1993 I summoned a few astral intelligences (Akhu) to my home in CA.  One of them was an Egyptian goddess/Akh.  I wanted to see if she would materialize on command.  I never saw a real spirit up close before.  So, I made her angry with me.  She then materialized in front of me while the lights were off.  No camera back then.  She was about 5 feet tall with very long eyelashes.  Dark hair, and adorable. I instinctedly swapped my hand over her to see it go through her.  She just stood there for a few minutes until I turned on the light and she disappeared.  Akhu are only invisible in white light.  their temperature is hot when happy and cold when depressed or first entering a room.  They leave behind imprints of their presence, on carpet and on furniture.  Ghosts tend not to do this.  Also, a angry spirit I once encountered at a Borders bookstore in CA, who purposely knocked books off a shelf to attract attention.

welcome m7 firstly i would like to say your site has been of great help to us ,and we have visited it on many occasions and will continue to do so.one of our investigations has uncovered an egyption connection in england dating back to 1740 I have questions relating to cerimonial practices that you may well be able to enlighten us on.

Would this be the greater or lesser Ennead (Ennead means 9 gods).

In "Mythologies of the World - A concise encyclopedia" (C)1979 book, it shows the Ennead as being:

Nu(nu) - Atum/Ra, - Shu - Tefnut, Geb - Nut, Osiris/Isis [or Horus], Set, Nephthys.

This can be seen on the top of any judgment of the soul scene where the gods are venerated by the deceased.  Not the 42 judges scene.

This list varies according to Dynasty.  Some names are replaced with others.

yes it is related to the cult of isis ,we were wondering how  the priesthood was structured ,and how the rituals were undertaken ,for instance would 9 priests take on the persona of  the ennead during any or all of the rituals.Also when were the main rituals ,One in perticular was the weighing of the heart.

what you are on about on your comment above what about the way they started the hellfire caves.
